The crew goes to work on a 1967 Chevelle and enter a demolition derby for publicity. Then, run into former co-workers from the shop they were all fired from by Richard Rawlings, who they later find out is their new shop landlord.

The crew struggles to deal with their landlord, Richard Rawlings, as well as the completion of their first major build. They hope the 1967 Chevelle revamp will get them ready to go toe-to-toe with Richard and his garage.

Thomas makes a profit flipping a car Richard turned up his nose on. Then, Thomas and Scot pick up a 1957 Chevy for their next build, and the shop is threatened when a tree falls on it.

Scot finds a buyer for the 1957 Gasser and gives the crew a two-week deadline, but the project comes to a halt when Thomas builds an engine that's unacceptable with the other partners.

Thomas picks up a rare Ford Torino Cobra and the team hastily buys a 1965 Mustang Fastback. Then, Thomas finds a 1969 Barracuda that he allows Tom to fix.

The 1965 Mustang Fastback returns from paint and the guys get to work. Richard catches the crew using tools at his garage and invoices them, and things take a turn for the worst when Soup Bone gets white paint on the hood.

Thomas flips two classic carts to turn a quick profit: a 1953 Mercury and a 1958 Ford Fairlane. Then, Thomas and Scot pick up a 1965 Chevy Nova and Corbett goes rogue and paints the car charcoal gray instead of white.

Moving on after a surprising paint job, the Misfits hit a bump in the road when the axle they chopped and fabricated isn't the right size. Later, Thomas lands a 1931 Dodge Rat Rod, and Scot's dad tunes the 1965 Nova's motor.
