ISIS: Terror in Asia

Over 750 Indonesians, Malaysians and Australians have gone to Syria to join ISIS or other militant groups. We tell the stories of the few who have gone to Syria and Iraq, and uncover the reasons behind - and the tragic consequences - of their radicalisation.

We investigate the threats that supporters of ISIS present at home. We detail how some individuals have already planned or committed terrorist acts in Asia, and explore existing programmes in the region that counter radical activity.
