The Morales Dynasty

After finishing one of his concerts in Cartagena, the singer Kaleth Morales, meets Juliana, his girlfriend, who tells him that Carmelo, her father, is looking for him to end their relationship at any cost.

When returning to the past, Anabel´s son, Carmelo, attending a private party with Nevis, Dionisia´s goddaughter, inspires Miguel Morales, who is also present, to get on the stage and dedicate a song to him; when he finishes singing to him, Carmelo gets up to get on the stage and kicks him out because he wasn´t invited.

Nevis, realizing that Dionisia, her godmother, is forcing things with Carmelo, decides to look for a job at a restaurant where she manages to convince Nereo, the owner and manager of the place to let her work there; and right there Miguel Morales arrives with his new business proposal, making arepas, which also helps him start working as a cook in the same restaurant.

At night, when Miguel Morales and Nevis left work at the restaurant, they began to talk about their feelings, which inspired Miguel to want to be a good cook, asking Béseli his grandmother for help. On the other hand, Carmelo, after learning that Anabel, his mother, is having an affair with Pedro, Miguel's father, decides to go after him to kill him.

At the police station, while Carmelo declares against Pedro Morales about a false attack, his mother Anabel lets him know that she will no longer keep quiet about the affair she´s been having with Pedro for several years. Throughout the day, Miguel and Ninfa cook several recipes, which causes Ninfa, after hearing a melody, to write him a letter asking him to meet her in the storage room.

Carmelo goes with Pote, his friend, to a meeting in which they offer him a business that will double the money he invests with them; that night, after the meeting he decides to go home and tell Anabel, his mother, that he needs a million pesos to invest in the alleged cattle, and his mother agrees to give him the money.

Nevis leaves the hospital after being shot by Nereo and decides to move in with Miguel Morales; when she arrives at her new home, Monserrat her sister, receives the news that her husband, Gerardo, died in Venezuela; after hearing the news, the Morales family pays tribute to him in their own home.

Nevis and Miguel decide to make a dinner to raise the necessary money to help Ninfa with her father Nereo's treatments, but when Carmelo learns about the dinner, he throws another party at his friend Pote's house. At the restaurant's Vallenato dinner, Nevis begins to feel sick and faints and in this is how she and the entire Morales family, find out that Nevis is expecting Miguel's child.

After Nevis faints due to her pregnancy, Kaleth's sister, Bechi, replaces her at the restaurant where Kaleth is the cook; when leaving work, Bechi receives compliments from Kike, a friend of Kaleth, who has known he wants to be with her for a while.

When Pote's cousin, Anturio, was caught having marijuana in a plane, Mayor Tuto approaches Pote to warn him about the money he gave them, which causes each one to draw their pistol. After the birth of Nevis and Miguel's son, their friends and family decide to welcome him and, incidentally, reveal the baby's name, which will be Kaleth.

Carmelo decides to flee because of the problem his friend Anturio got him into with Mayor Tuto, after investing his money in illegal businesses; while trying to run, Pedro, Miguel's father, finds him and takes him to his house where he gives him some advice and at the same time, he lets his mother Anabel know that he is there.

To pay off the debt that Carmelo has with the entire Valley, he and his mother, Anabel, decide to sell and give several of their properties to each family, including the Morales family. Miguel manages to record his first song thanks to the help of Jairo Gomez, the owner of a record label, along with his friends Kike and Pimiento.

In Valledupar, Kaleth, Miguel's son, while he was improvising, decides to go meet Carmelo's daughters, showing them that he and his brothers can improvise and sing Vallenato.

After the blow that Kaleth gave Carmelo for raising a hand to his son Kaleth, Carmelo gives money to one of the members of the other team so that they let him play against the Morales; while they play, Kaleth gets hit with the ball on the head and immediately his family takes him to the hospital, where Nevis´s water breaks minutes later and she gives birth to their daughter, Katrina.

In Valledupar, during the night, Kike, Bechi's boyfriend, expresses his disagreement with the life she leads, since, according to him, Bechi is to blame for their poverty, right before he beats her minutes later.

While Carmelo is in Bogotá, he talks to Jairo, the manager of Los Diablines, to ask him if they can hold a concert in Medellín and thus, to get closer to Nevis, giving her the details and arriving at every place where she meets her children.

In Valledupar, Anabel, Carmelo's mother talks to Pedro Miguel to make it clear that she wants to end their relationship because he has several women at the same time. In Medellín, Miguel asks his manager if he can go out and have a romantic dinner with his wife; when he arrives at the hotel, Miguel learns from Nevis that Carmelo is the one financing his new single.

When Marlyn and her daughter arrive at the Morales house, she begins to flirt with Miguel every chance she gets; this situation begins to worry Miguel to the point of finding a house for him in another neighborhood to avoid problems with his father Pedro Miguel.

When the Morales family arrives at their new home, they realize that they will also change schools, that same day Kaleth has a problem in class because his classmate, Samuel, copies his answers in a test. Bechi's partner, seeing that he isn´t making any progress with the taxi, decides to go with one of Miguel´s lovers to the house and kidnap the baby he has with Bechi.

The Morales family, after learning that Kike, Miguel's brother-in-law, escaped in the taxi with his son, began to look for them throughout the Valley, offering a reward for any information, Magnolia, Miguel's lover, participated in the kidnapping to get revenge.

Five years later, Carmelo Cuellar returns to the Valley with his wife Mafe and their two daughters, they move to the house next to Miguel Morales´s house, which will bring problems for both families. Kaleth, Miguel's son, sees Juliana, one of Carmelo's daughters, who is his childhood love. Kaleth immediately begins to write a song for her.

Samuel, one of Kaleth Morales's friends, decides to go to Carmelo's house to apologize for hitting him with the ball, this way he begins to earn his trust and incidentally helps him with the furniture and boxes that he has in the moving car.

Keyner and Kanner, Kaleth's brothers, decide to puncture the tires on Carmelo's car so that he would want to leave the neighborhood, but that same night his father Miguel re-evaluates that decision after talking to his wife, Nevis, about his fear of losing her with Carmelo living next door.

While Miguel travels to Bogotá to give a concert, he leaves his father Pedro Miguel at home to take care of Nevis and Carmelo's children, which upsets Nevis because she doesn´t trust him.
