On a Glasgow-London overnight service, cyber-terrorists seize control; a passenger and a remote expert must connect to stop the catastrophe.

Trapped on the moving sleeper, Joe contemplates escape as the pressure mounts. Meanwhile, Abby battles bureaucracy and technology to regain control.

As trust fractures onboard, Joe investigates his fellow travellers. From the remote control, Abby diverts the elevated danger by rerouting the train from its main track.

When the operative Hud takes a reckless gamble to halt the train, the plan backfires; Abby uncovers that Joe's situation is more dire than she feared.

Under interrogation by Hud and Miller, Abby defends her actions. Meanwhile, Joe copes with the aftermath of a gunshot incident and must decide whom he can rely on among the remaining passengers.

Reaching the final stretch, Abby believes she's found the key to stop the runaway train. But with Joe missing and time evaporating, the remaining passengers face a perilous end.
