Dennis, cast out of a top-tier adventuring party, decides to follow his dreams and open his own restaurant.

The Adventurer's Restaurant is open at last, and their first customer is...someone wearing full plate armor?!

A boy named Vivia comes to the restaurant. He's been cast out of his party, so he may deign to join a new one.

Bachel has been thoroughly ground down by her crushing workload. Then another scolding pushes her to the edge.

The restaurant is booming, but Dennis is worried about Atelier! Katie approaches Dennis with a request.

The Workstatt family butler arrives to retrieve Atelier. He tells Dennis and the others of her tragic past.

The restaurant is busier than ever! Sages and wizards are flocking there after hearing about the magic tomes Atelier has inherited! Between running the restaurant and all his other activities, Dennis is exhausted. He falls ill with a high fever and groans in his sleep as he dreams of his childhood. Henrietta, Vivia, and Bechel decide to make food for Dennis, but they have zero cooking experience.

Henrietta and Vivia are spotted walking through town. The townspeople find it strange that they aren't at the restaurant for lunch as usual, but today they're having a feast instead. After Dennis and the others soak in the hot springs, the barbecue begins! They all enjoy themselves as they each announce their upcoming plans. Meanwhile, a dark figure creeps towards the closed restaurant.

Vigo, Joseph, and the Night Mist Troop's plot succeeds and the Adventurer's Restaurant burns to the ground. Amidst the scorched remains, Dennis decides to give up everything in fear of endangering their regular customers. He and Atelier start to leave town, but Henrietta, Vivia, Bechel, and the townspeople stand in their way. Touched by his friends' passionate emotions, Dennis makes up his mind!

With help, Dennis and the others obtain information about Vigo and Joseph's little gathering, and continue their preparations for battle. Meanwhile, Vigo thinks back on the steps he's taken to get where he is. In order to claw his way up from slavery, he trained himself, entrapped others, and used anything he could. Now, Vigo takes his next step—all for the sake of reaching even greater heights.

Thanks to Team Outcast's Restaurant's plans, Vigo and the others' evil deeds have been exposed. Those who carry out the law within the kingdom have heard everything, so there will be no escape. Vigo explodes with rage and attacks! A deadly serious fight between heavy swordsman and a chef, both level 99, who once adventured together as part of the same party... Who can predict what will happen?

As Vigo's finishing blow closes in, it seems all of Dennis' valiant efforts are in vain. Then, a rainbow-colored light appears at Dennis' feet and runs over his whole body. "I will protect their smiles!" At last, Dennis grasps the last piece! He looks straight at Vigo, swings his cleaver, and activates his unique skill! Dennis puts everything he's got into the powerful blow he's about to unleash!
