No Man's Land

Antoine is in turmoil after seeing a news report in which he believes to recognize his dead sister, Anna. He’s convinced she’s alive and fighting against ISIS. He flies to Turkey and is nearly kidnapped by ISIS when the YPJ attack and capture Antoine.

At the Kurdish base, Antoine is interrogated but before long the base is attacked. Sarya, Antoine, and a group of volunteers are sent to blow up a strategic bridge. On their way, someone recognizes Anna from a picture, claiming to have seen her in Syria.

Antoine joins Sarya’s commando force on a mission to blow up the bridge; once completed, they join Shamaran’s unit. Immediately after they are attacked by ISIS troops. In the ISIS village, the British Jihadists get used to their new life but one is an undercover agent.

Antoine, Sarya, and the volunteers prepare for an ISIS assault. The Kurdish village survives, but the Jihadis defeat the frontline female fighters. The next day, the YPJ battalion arrives to village. Antoine gets to see Shamaran but gets an unexpected shock.

Antoine decides to leave Syria, but the region is taken by ISIS. Nasser is promoted and receives a seat on the military council. Troubled by the horrors he has seen, he decides to flee. He meets with his handler only to realize he’s been manipulated.

Anna’s story during her journey and involvement in the ISIS crisis is revealed—from her separation from Antoine and her family to starting her lonely job in Cairo, to the eventual manipulation she experienced by Stanley’s hands and Anna’s decision to take drastic measures.

After the horrors he’s seen and done, Antoine cannot leave Syria. He volunteers to fight alongside the Kurds, only to be confronted by a shocking face from his past. The mysterious person is tipped off to an ISIS commander’s location and an assassination strike force is assembled.

ISIS reinforcements swarm the area, forcing Anna to escape on foot. She and Antoine rejoin the main force to discover that Sarya was injured and cannot be saved unless she’s transferred to a Western hospital. Paul discovers Nasser’s betrayal and gives him an ultimatum.
