Based on the novel by Rosamunde Pilcher, The Shell Seekers stars Vanessa Redgrave in "a fine, flinty performance" (Variety) as Penelope Keeling, who reflects on her life following a heart attack. As she recalls her wild childhood, one true love, and unhappy marriage, Penelope assesses her differing relationships with her three grown children and makes a choice that will decide her family"s future.
