Perfect. Everything I had was perfect. Ji Sun-Woo(Kim Hee-ae): respected doctor, mom, and wife. A peaceful family, loving husband, perfect son, and societal recognition. Everything was going well. Until she discovers a strand of another woman's hair on her husband Tae-O(Park Hae-Joon)'s scarf. Sun-Woo, plagued with suspicion, decides that rather than feeling shame, she will face the truth!

Sun-Woo feels betrayed at Tae-O's affair and the true faces of those around her. After Tae-O and Jae-Hyuk(Kim Yeong-Min) fight, she leaves the scene. It's hard to accept the whole situation. She tries to remain calm when she treats Da-Kyeong(Han So-Hee) at the hospital, but is shaken at her shocking provocation...! 'Can't we be happy this way?' Sun-Woo gives her husband a chance to tell the truth.

Sun-Woo wants to know who Tae-O loves, but he can’t give up either woman. This is a decision that only he can make. Sun-Woo sees a divorce lawyer but is not pleased with his advice, and sees Da-Kyeong at the bookstore and hears shocking news... Ye-Rim(Park Seon-Yeong) and Jae-Hyuk(Kim Yeong-Min) notice the tension between Sun-Woo and Tae-O. As much as they try not to worry, the storm approaches.

Unbeknownst to Tae-O, Sun-Woo begins to plan for divorce in earnest, while Jae-Hyuk openly reveals his desire for her. After watching Tae-O go back and forth in deciding between Sun-woo and herself, Da-Kyeong decides to get an abortion and end things with Tae-O… Sun-Woo, who had been keeping tabs on Tae-O's affair through Hyeon-Seo(Shim Eun-Woo), goes out dressed more opulently than ever.

Feeling anxious about the two, Ye-Rim tries to repair her relationship with Jae-Hyuk, while Tae-O feels nervous at Sun-Woo's cold silence...

You're the one who ruined everything!' Sun-Woo and Tae-O blame each other for ruining their family. Joon-Yeong(Jeon Jin-Seo) feels anxious at the changes in his parents' behavior. The war between Sun-Woo and Tae-O begins, with Joon-Yeong in the middle of it all. Da-Kyeong is frustrated at Tae-O, who refuses to give up his money and his son, as strange things begin happening around Sun-Woo.

After the 2-year restraining order, Tae-O, Da-Kyeong, and their daughter Jenny make their extravagant return to Gosan for all to see. They host a grand party and invite the residents, becoming the talk of the town. An unwelcome guest appears. Was the weight of 2 years different for Sun-Woo than it was for Tae-O? He appears relaxed in front of Sun-Woo and Joon-Yeong, making Sun-Woo nervous.

After that evening, every little thing sets Sun-Woo on edge. In contrast, Joon-Yeong seems relieved at Tae-O's arrival. Ye-Rim is suspicious of the events that have happened to Sun-Woo after Tae-O's return. The interests of the ladies in the Gosan Women's Society creates tension, and Sun-Woo, facing a threat to her once peaceful daily life, doesn't avoid it but instead prepares a counterattack.

Do you trust your husband?' Da-Kyeong is wary of Sun-Woo, who has joined the unwelcoming Gosan Women's Society. Her relaxed attitude triggers anxiety in Da-Kyeong, and she and Yoon-Gi are concerned that what Sun-Woo and Tae-O have isn’t over, even after divorce. People begin plotting around Sun-Woo's VP position, but things take an unexpected turn! In-Gyu is a bigger threat than Tae-O expected.

Tae-O raises his voice at Sun-Woo one night, feeling contempt, desperation, and anger. Sun-Woo and Yeo Byeong-Gyu have a conversation after a conflict with the head doctor. Byeong-Gyu, noticing Sun-Woo and Tae-O's exchanges, asks Da-Gyeong how she feels. Jae-Hyuk and Ye-Rim find Myeong-Sook for a fertility test, but Ye-Rim disappears. Yoon-Gi begins to doubt Sun-Woo, and she asks him how he feels.

There is a heavy aftermath to the Gosan Station accident for Sun-Woo, Tae-O, and those around them. Da-Kyeong, who had waited for Tae-O until late, feels nervous at his behavior, while Yoon-Gi tells Sun-Woo everything he witnessed that night. What actually happened that night? The scarf she wrapped around Hyeon-Seo's neck ends up grabbing Sun-Woo by the ankles, as she receives a shocking call.

Feeling alone and unable to trust his family, Tae-O is struggling. He becomes further estranged from Da-Kyeong, and neither he nor Sun-Woo are able to sleep at night. At Tae-O's coldness, Da-Kyeong becomes both angry and nervous. Seeing his warm behavior only reserved for his son, she sets out to meet with Joon-Yeong. Sun-Woo, dealing with complex emotions, goes to find Tae-O late at night.

Joon-Yeong strays even further as his family situation takes a turn for the worse. Da-Kyeong is wary of his dubious behavior. In order to protect the life she has, Da-Kyeong is adamant that she be his legal guardian, not Sun-Woo. Sun-Woo is miserable at Joon-Yeong’s refusal to meet or contact her. She painfully decides to leave Gosan for her son.

Sun-Woo, having decided to leave Gosan for her son, abruptly quits her job at the hospital. Tae-O tries to respect Da-Kyeong’s disciplinary methods, but finds it difficult… Will they be able to become a true family? ‘What I can't stand... is my child hating me...'

Sun-Woo decides to leave Gosan with her son Joon-Yeong, according to his wishes. But Tae-O suddenly intrudes, making them anxious, and Sun-Woo makes a proposition to Tae-O to protect her fearful son. Da-Kyeong finds Sun-Woo’s empty house. It is now time for her to confront her internal anxiety. ‘Think carefully. This might be your last chance to escape.’
