24Australians from all walks of life arrive in Samoa with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Here, in the one of the most remote places in the world they must battle it out for 55 days to win the ultimate game of survival. Each of them bring their own unique set of skills and a strategy they think will help them be the sole survivor, and take home $500,000.

Aganoa return from tribal council with the realisation that the game is in play. Kristie is convinced the tribe is plotting gainst her. Saanapu are on a high after their 2 wins. Unwell, Fiegs sees himself as a liability.

After a violent tropical storm tears through the island, Saanapu endures dour mood in camp until Tree Mail arrives with instructions to send the tribe's 2 wisest to complete a quest. Kylie & Fiegs leave and are presented with a choice between truth or deceit. Aganoa, Phoebe & Rohan have chosen to enter the quest and at Vavau Nick & Tegan.

At Aganoa, Phoebe continues to run 2 alliances - one with the girls and the other with El, Lee and Rohan. Fiegs' physical decline continues over in Saanapu. At Vavau, Nick unsuccessfully attempts to consolidate his place in the alliance with Sue, Jennah-Louise and Craig. Rohan finds an immunity idol. Kylie and Fiegs do not find an immunity idol.

Following Tribal Council , a frosty Kat refuses to join the tribe for dinner. At Vavau, Nick is unsuccessful finding an idol while over at Saanapu, Kylie is ecstatic having found one. At the reward challenge, Vavau barters their luxury winnings in exchange for flint. Saanapu wins and Aganoa comes second. Tree Mail reveals two tribes will face Tribal Council.

Sam is still stunned at being switched to Vavau with Connor. Saanapu try to make Nick and Tegan welcome to their tribe but Nick is still reeling from being blindsided. Kristie feels more comfortable at Aganoa but questions her 3-girl alliance with Phoebe and El. At the Immunity Challenge, Vavau loses.

Sam and Connor vow to stick together at Vavau following Barry's elimination. At Saanapu Nick works hard around camp while Tegan forges friendships with Flick and Brooke to ensure their safety next tribal council. At Vavau, Kate discovers an infection under her arm, which could jeopardise her game. Saanapu come first in the Reward Challenge, Vavau second.

Brooke and Flick plot to undermine Matt's control of Saanapu. At Aganoa, Kat decides to get the girls alliance back on track to stay in the game. Today's challenge is not for immunity but for a huge advantage in the game. Saanapu wins. Tribes merge from 3 to 2 and as prize Saanapu gets to choose 4 new members to join them. The rest will form the new Vavau.

Craig plots to find the hidden immunity idol after finding a clue in his napkin. With the new tribes, Kat finds she has the chance to improve her position, possibly at the expense of Rohan. The reward challenge is fought out in a giant mud pit. Saanpau fills their trough with mud first and wins.

Phoebe is devastated she has lost her closest ally Rohan following tribal council. She is annoyed when Kat revels in her victory. Phoebe spots Craig searching the mangroves the past few days and decides to look herself. She finds a hidden immunity idol. The immunity challenge requires strength, dexterity and quick wits. Saanapu wins again, sending Vavau back to Tribal Council.

Following Vavau's Tribal Council, Andrew vows revenge on Phoebe and Kristie as one of them voted for him. The next morning, Kate takes the tribe for some yoga which Andrew is cynical about. Kate, Phoebe and Kristie discuss getting rid of him. At Saanapu, Matt refuses to kill the chickens. Saanapu wins the chocolate reward challenge.

At Saanapu Kylie defies her tribe over their sleeping arrangements and refuses to budget even after Jennah Louise confronts her. At Vavau, Craig continues his search for the hidden immunity idol unaware that Phoebe has already found it. Saanapu wins at the immunity challenge. At Tribal Council, Phoebe shocks the tribe and plays her hidden immunity idol. Craig is voted out.

Vavau reels from Phoebe and Kristie's blindside which sent Craig home. Meanwhile at Saanapu it's all rainbows and paradise. Kylie attempts to form an all girl alliance but this is quickly shut down. Saanapu wins the immunity challenge and a Samoan feast. They also win a special advantage of sending a member to attend Vavau's tribal council.

Brooke surprises Saanapu with their new kidnapped tribe member Sue. Nick is pleased to confront her for voting him out of their original tribe.

Both tribes arrives at what they think is a challenge but to their surprise Jonathan reveals they are merging to form one tribe. There is a Survivor auction to help celebrate, each tribe mate has $500. After the auction the tribe head to their new camp.

Following Tribal Council, Kate is convinced she is next to go. The next day she tries to form a "good guy" alliance with Sam, Lee and Kylie. They want to blindside Nick.

Nick feels isolated the morning after Tribal Council. Brooke confronts Sam why he broke ranks with his tight alliance. Sam offers no apology and cements his desire to remove Nick from the game. Today's challenge offers letters from home.

At Tribal Council and before being voted off the island, Nick outs the secret alliances in Fia Fia. Matt struggles with this news, but Flick is in damage control. Flick wants Matt voted out next, but Brooke wants Kylie gone.

JL decides it's time to take down the power trio of Brooke, Flick and El. She tries to enlist Sue and Kristie, followed by Matt and Sam. Matt reveals JL's plans to Brooke. Brooke, El and Flick play to take JL down next Tribal Council.

After Sue was voted off at tribal council JL now realises she needs a miracle to survive. Kristie, who received 4 tribal votes, realises it's now time to play the game hard. Lee confesses to Kirstie he voted for her, but offers her advice on how to stay in the game.

At tribal council, Flick is concerned about the suggestion she's on the outer. The following morning her mind is still ticking over. Flick sees El as a threat and she starts to question Brooke's place in the game.

The morning after Tribal Council Flick is guilt-ridden about blindsiding Brooke. Flick, El and and Lee meet at the beach and agree to take each other to the final three and this will mean getting rid of Kristie, who suddenly appears and gets suspicious. Kristie then joins forces with Matt to dismantle El and Lee.

Flick takes Kristie aside to promise her that she will stick with the newly formed alliance with Sam and Kristie agrees to the do the same. At the reward challenge its revealed they will be competing as the Exiled team and the Spa Reward team.

Matt feels betrayed by Flick and Kristie's decision to flip on their plan to vote out El at the previous tribal council. Flick tries to get El to take each other to the final two but El is hesitant, saying she sees it more as a top three including Lee. Kristie finds herself with the deciding vote in the tribe.

Flick is well aware she's likely to be voted out next but vows to fight to the end. Flick asks Lee to teach her to make fire. Kristie observes and sets off in the middle of the night to practice herself. Flick continues to plead with El and her appeal is not falling on deaf ears.
