Spain, 1939. Young Carlos arrives at the Santa Lucía orphanage, after his father, a republican was killed in the civil war. While adapting to his new surroundings, the boy also discovers strange ghostly phenomena. He follows the quiet footsteps of a mysterious presence eager for revenge.
