Outbreak

A deadly virus from the African rainforests breaks out in Cedar Creek, California after a monkey carrying the disease is transported over illegally. Those who are infected soon die, and it is up to Colonel Sam Daniels (Dustin Hoffman), a US army viral expert, to find an antidote. To do this he must track down the carrier monkey, but he is placed under extra pressure when his own wife is infected.
