Thomas and Friends: Christmas on Sodor

Connor is a fast engine and always bang on time! But one day Connor is shocked when one of his coupling rods breaks. He's never broken down before and decides that he must have been going too fast. Even after he is repaired, he is too worried to go fast and travels so slow that Thomas overtakes him. Finally it is Stephen who convinces Connor that he really does want to go fast again.

James is delighted to be picked to take the Mayor and the Fat Controller to a ball in Vicarstown. But, at the end of the day, is horrified when his guard finds a tiny scratch on his paintwork! He insists on being repainted, thinking the windy weather will dry him as he zooms along, but leaves and twigs stick to his wet paint instead!

One day two visitors come to the Island of Sodor to take pictures of interesting engines. When they don't say hello and drive through a puddle splashing Bert with muddy water, he decides they are very rude. He decides to get his own back by using his steam to make water rain down on them from the wet branches, but the Small Controller is not very happy with him.

Terence is working with The Woodsmen, cutting down fir trees for Tidmouth Christmas Market. Terence is proud of his caterpillar tracks as they mean he can drive anywhere... well almost anywhere. When Terence takes a short cut across a frozen pond, the ice cracks and he starts to fall in. Luckily, Thomas is there to rescue him!

Spencer and Gordon are very competitive and argue about everything. One day, an argument about platforms leads to them each taking the wrong coaches. Nobody realises the mistake until the two engines are racing along the line and by the time they reach their destinations Spencer and Gordon have to contend with some very unhappy passengers.

Daisy loves a traditional Sodor Christmas and so she is upset when things go a little differently! There's no snow and the children change the words to a Christmas song. The Small Engines put on a different show and the Christmas carol singers are joined by a rowdy chorus of Troublesome Trucks! Everyone is having a great time... except for Daisy!

One snow day, Donald and Douglas pick up a very long train of heavy flatbeds from the Docks. The flatbeds are heavy and The Fat Controller asks Emily to lend the two engines some puff. A disagreement between the twins leads to poor Emily being pushed off the rails. Donald and Douglas feel bad and let Emily take the front of the train, leaving the bickering brothers together at the back!

The steam engines are waiting for the coal delivery to arrive when the weather turns and everything freezes. Thomas thinks he has enough coal to complete one more journey but it runs out before he returns. The diesels keep the railway running and Thomas, Annie and Clarabel try to keep their spirits up on a cold siding, until Diesel proves himself to be the hero of the hour!
