Sensing Murder

On the 29th of January 1976, 13 year old schoolgirl Tracey Ann Patient disappeared while walking home along Great North Road in West Auckland.

In May 1970 an innocent young girl, OliveWalker, left home just before 7pm with the intention of walking to her sister's house. Eighteen year old Olive was due to babysit her nieces and nephews -but Olive never made it.

It was a bitterly cold night on 5th June 1986, when attractive 25 year old Luana Williams disappeared from her home in Tauranga, never to be seen again. In the early hours of the morning her partner returned home to find the lights on, the fire unguarded, half a glass of sherry on the coffee table and their pets indoors. There were no signs of a struggle.

Under cover of darkness, during a violent storm, an unknown intruder broke into a suburban home in WestAuckland. He crept into the bedroom six year old Alicia O'Reilly shared with her sister and raped and murdered young Alicia in her bed while her sister slept.

On the evening of 5th July 1979 a burglar broke into the house of pensioner George Engelbrecht. George was in bed sleeping but awoke to the sound of smashing glass. The burglar entered his bedroom and proceeded to beat the old man to death with a series of weapons he randomly picked up in the bedroom.

On August 17th 1995, pregnant mother Angela Blackmoore was stabbed to death in the kitchen of her Christchurch home while her two year old son slept in the front bedroom.
