A distraught mother (Halle Berry) and her two sons live in a cabin in the woods under the sway of an evil spirit. They need to stay connected at all times, clinging to each other, going so far as to tie each other up with ropes. But, when one of the children wonders if the evil is real, the ties that bind them together break, triggering a terrifying struggle for survival.
