The world has changed. Humanity survives only in the high mountains, above 8,000 feet. Below “The Line” lurk the creatures that wiped out 95% of the population. To save his son, a father (Anthony Mackie) must venture into monster territory with a scientist (Morena Baccarin) he despises and a young woman (Maddie Hasson) determined to keep them alive - long enough to save humanity.
