Operation Deception

In the middle of the War on Drugs in the 1980s, the RCMP launched Operation Deception-an undercover investigation to take down drug traffickers across Canada. In the small town of Gibson, BC, the name of Alain Olivier, a Quebec forestry student, surfaced as the supposed kingpin importing heroin from Thailand.

Alain is arrested in Thailand during a drug bust involving RCMP undercover agents-an operation that turns deadly when one agent is killed. Facing death or life in one of the world's most brutal prisons, Alain is confronted by a Canadian investigative journalist who steps into his cell to unravel what brought the RCMP to Thailand-and how one of their own ended up dead.
