Six university students leave for a hazing weekend in São João da Cruz, but terror sets in when six of them disappear swallowed by the sea in Praia da Cruz in mysterious circumstances. Frustrated, Marta (Diana's sister), tries to find out what happened through the only survivor, Gonçalo, and her colleagues from the AVA, the Students Association, responsible for the hazing.

Marta realises that there is a pact of silence at AVA and that Gonçalo's explanation for the accident is incongruous. In flashback, the youngsters settle into the rented house in São João da Cruz and have their first dinner of games and fun.

While trying to understand what happened in Praia da Cruz, Marta gets closer to Alex, a colleague of her late sister. The police investigation finds no evidence of a crime and the students' drowning case is considered an accident. In flashback, at the São João da Cruz house, the teenagers are partying the night away.

Marta is convinced that there were more people in São João da Cruz's house that night and goes looking for clues from the neighbors. In flashback, the students are locked inside the rooms of São João da Cruz's house, while Gonçalo hazes each one individually.

Marta is becoming more and more convinced that her sister and her classmates were hazed the night they drowned in Praia da Cruz, but the search for the truth drags her into a spiral of anxiety and frustration. In flashback we learn more about Sofia and her relationship with the Student Association (AVA) members.

In flashback we learn about Gonçalo and his election as Dux. There are also new insights about what happened during the students' weekend at São João da Cruz's house. Marta's anxiety and frustration lead her into a dangerous situation.
