The Cleaning Lady

After a long day of cleaning offices, hotels and hospitals, Rosa works overtime at a boxing club cleaning up after each match. One night, she hears a gunshot after a fixed match goes wrong. She tries to run away, but she is forced at gunpoint to clean up the evidence of the murder. She cleans the locker room thoroughly until the place is spotless.

Police detective Sandro is investigating a body found in the lake. The clues he uncovers leads him to the boxing club, where he interrogates the staff, the boxers and the cleaning lady. Nothing seems suspicious except the unusual cleanliness of the locker room. Sandro takes a sample of the cleaning solution used.

Rosa meets with her son’s doctor, who recommends an operation for her son as soon as possible, since his condition is deteriorating. Meanwhile, a new victim is found, this time in an abandoned factory. Detectives Sandro and Gutiérrez find a possible murder gun and they organize a raid in the brothel after receiving an anonymous call.

During the raid, Sandro recognizes the madame's tattoo and takes her to the precinct to take her deposition. They don’t find any evidence, just another spotless room. Since the raid was conducted without a court order, they have to release the madame and a complaint is filed against Sandro. Rosa carries out another special “cleaning” job, this time a urine stain in a luxury office.

Sandro is suspended from his work duties because of the illegal raid he ordered and his refusal to accept the official report concluding that the man found in the zoo committed suicide. A young woman is used as a drug mule and forced to swallow small bags of cocaine. After working the nightshift cleaning a hotel, Rosa goes home tired and nervous.

Rosa manages to escape the raid. Felipe also escapes from his plastic bubble room, worsening his health condition. Rosa decides to quit her day job to do more “cleaning” jobs and make more money so that her son can be treated in the United States. Her friend María goes to a casting call and ends up in a party with a group of other girls.

Sandro meets with Brigitte, who works at the brothel that he raided. She gives him a list of the missing girls. Emilio learns that Rosa has quit her job and becomes worried about her. Gutierrez finds out about the raid by the police and wants to check it out. He decides to review the case so that the police chief will reinstate Sandro.

The police chief finally authorizes Gutierrez to investigate. Upon arriving, he notices that the security seal is broken and finds the body of the police officer working undercover in the cocaine lab. María has been missing for several days. Rosa becomes worried and calls Maria’s mother. The doctor is concerned with the deterioration of Felipe’s health.

A woman's lifeless body is found on an abandoned train track. Gutierrez takes photos of the crime scene and later decides to follow Rosa. Dr. Blanco recommends putting Felipe in the hospital, but Rosa does not want her son to live in the hospital. After getting into a fight, Emilio invites Rosa out for dinner to make peace.

Rosa makes the difficult decision to put Felipe in the hospital. She meets with Sandro, who confirms that María is dead. She realizes that she has cleaned up her friend’s crime scene. Sandro and Gutiérrez go to Emilio's shop to investigate the cleaning solution he created. They seize a bottle of Emilio’s special cleaning liquid, which they hand over to the forensic scientists for analysis.

The lab results of the cleaning product created by Emilio match the one used in all the crime scenes. Emilio is arrested and Rosa comes to see him, promising him to do everything she can to get him out of jail. Rosa meets with Sandro and tells him the whole truth. They agree to work together by having Rosa gather evidence against her sinister employers.

Coming back to town after a cleaning job at a country house, the taxi is intercepted by a group of thugs in a pickup truck who kidnap Rosa. Felipe is getting worse, but the hospital delivers the good news that it has found a bone marrow donor.

Sandro and Gutiérrez follow a suspect named Chico Pérez, who guides them to the shelter where Rosa is being held captive. After a violent gunfight, they manage to free Rosa. Felipe's surgery is a success and Rosa goes to jail.
