Mathappan after a failed attempt to steal a temple idol, meets Priyamani, who leads him to another secret Devi temple. While escaping with the stolen idol from that temple, Matthappan nearly drowns but feels saved by invisible hands. He wakes up with the Goddess, whose presence transforms him. The Goddess eventually moves to the local temple, and Matthappan starts a new life with Priyamani.
