The Overworld’s most trusted (human) steward and a bona fide wizard of the cube. Luckily, the four misfits have got this new friend and his best friend, a wolf named Dennis, in their corner.

The new kid in high school, too smart for his own good. Making friends and fitting in is a formula he’s never quite cracked.

HENRY

She has put all her life’s plans on hold to take care of her younger brother Henry. She does a pretty good job of pretending this doesn’t bother her…most of the time.

NATALIE

Natalie’s realtor. In addition to her seven other side hustles, including her mobile petting zoo. Dawn has dreams, wants to take her shot and follow them, but fear of failure keeps her stuck in neutral.

MEET THE HUMANS

A blocky grey-white wolf, Steve’s best friend in the Overworld, DENNIS will come to sneakily be one of the biggest heroes in A Minecraft Movie

One of the first creatures seen by our heroes, the Overworld’s PINK SHEEP can be a shock to the eye (and ear) but they are peaceful, and their wool can be used to make quite the fashion statement

Just like their counterparts on Earth, BEES pollinate flowers and don’t really sting unless provoked.  The only difference is that here, they’re perfectly square

Peaceful (human-like / humanoid / human-adjacent) residents of the Overworld, VILLAGERS have made their home in Midport Village, where they farm and crush loaves of bread and just generally mill about

VILLAGER

Peaceful long-necked farm animals, LLAMAS love swimming and munching bales of hay — gentle warning, they can spit long distances and are quite accurate

Buildable from four iron blocks, IRON GOLEMS are gentle, elemental giants that won’t mess with you unless you mess with a villager.  (So…. y’know.  Don’t.)

When the sun sets in the Overworld, the iconic CREEPER appears — a fuzzy green beast that sneaks up on our heroes and explodes, destroying anything or anyone unlucky enough to be nearby

A rare but formidable enemy, the CHICKEN JOCKEY is a baby zombie mounted on chicken-back.  It can almost -- if the lighting is just right -- be kinda cute.  But trust us, run.  This baby’s got the heart of a demon.

Hostile creatures that spawn in hordes every time night falls in the Overworld, SKELETONS attack with bow and arrow.  Like all Night Mobs, they have a strong allergy to sunlight (very strong — it kills them)

Another of the terrifying Night Mobs that rise as the sun falls, ZOMBIES are green-skulled monsters that attack anything alive (since they, technically, are not)

Native to the Nether, PIGLINS are minions that serve Malgosha, the all powerful Piglin Queen.  They love gold and destruction though it is said that, really, they’re more stupid than evil

A cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination, where creativity reigns supreme and everything is block-based—from the rolling terrain to the fluffy clouds, and even the sheep, llamas, and buzzing bees!

THE OVERWORLD

A hellish, lava-filled realm built from red and black stone. It’s home to the hostile Piglins—and to the powerful sorceress Malgosha, who plots to conquer the Overworld, block out the sun, and plunge everything into eternal darkness.

THE NETHER

A peaceful settlement in the Overworld, home to gentle Villagers. According to Steve, they’re pacifists—many of them vegetarians—who love bread and wouldn’t hurt a soul. Steve has built much of the village himself, including the legendary Steve’s Lava Chicken!

MIDPORT VILLAGE

Hidden in Midport Village, this is where Steve keeps all the precious items he’s gathered from years of adventuring—suits of armor, gold, iron, TNT, and more. It’s also where Steve keeps the all-important Crafting Table.

STEVE'S SECRET STASH

As night falls and danger creeps in, Natalie and Dawn cleverly transform a giant mushroom into a secure safe house. Using quick thinking and teamwork, they craft a clever hideout to survive the oncoming wave of zombies and skeletons.

MUSHROOM SAFE HOUSE

A spooky estate filled with eerie paintings and velvet-draped hallways. It’s inhabited by the sinister Vindicators and Evokers. This is also where Garrett encounters the terrifying Chicken Jockey and Henry must outsmart the mysterious Endermen.
