Stan Edgar began his career as an associate for “Vought American” in 1984. Calm, collected, yet ruthless, he rose to become chief Executive for the modern day Vought International. As pretty much the only person who’s not afraid of Homelander, Edgar is the cool-headed puppet-master with a shadowy past; he pulls the strings that move Vought forward—no matter the cost.

Thanks to the Flight 37 video keeping Homelander under control, every one of The Boys is living their best lives. Except for Butcher. He’s still keeping tabs on supes in his job with the FBSA, but he’s frustrated with all the political compromising. Butcher still wants one thing and one thing only: to destroy all superheroes, especially Homelander – and there’s no line he won’t cross to get what he wants.

Even though his wife, Monique, met someone else and moved on, M.M. is back in his daughter's life. But when a ghost from his past comes back to haunt him, M.M. will have to decide if he can continue to look the other way in the war on supes.

For the past year, Frenchie’s been working with Kimiko and Butcher at the FBSA, keeping tabs on supes, and living as normal a life as he can. Things are good. Until an unwanted visitor throws his entire life out of balance. But she still misses her little brother, Kenji, and she aches for the life of innocence that was stolen from her when she was turned into a “monster” with Compound V by the Shining Light Liberation Army. But can she find happiness despite that?

As the Director of the Federal Bureau of Superhuman Affairs, Congresswoman Neuman helps make the world a safer place. By compromising with Vought, she’s been able to root out the bad apples amongst the supes, which has meant more people alive and at home with their families at the end of every day. Now, with her soaring political ambitions — and popularity — there’s no limit to what she can achieve.

Hughie got himself a nice apartment, a Peloton, and his relationship with Starlight is better than ever. On top of all that, he’s got a great job at the FBSA, being Butcher’s boss! But most importantly, he’s making a difference — collateral damage caused by supes is down by an astonishing 60%. Life is good. And he did it all above board, not covered in blood and guts like he used to be with The Boys.
