Sign Up to Go Ad Free

Prime members can sign up for Prime Video Ad Free through the Prime Video website.

Prime Video movies and TV shows include limited advertisements. The Ad Free subscription is a monthly subscription, with customers in India also having an annual Ad Free subscription option. Currently, it isn’t possible to switch between monthly and annual Ad Free subscriptions.

You can subscribe to Prime Video Ad Free through the Prime Video website.1

  • Go to Your Account.
  • Select Go Ad Free
  • Select Start Subscription

Where available, you can subscribe to Prime Video Ad Free on the Prime Video app for Fire TV, smart TVs, game consoles and set-top boxes.

  • Go to Settings and select Prime
  • Select Go Ad Free
  • Select Start Subscription

Once your subscription has started, profiles linked to your account will no longer see advertisements2 while streaming on-demand movies and TV shows from Prime. Some titles include promotional trailers that run before a movie or TV show. These trailers can be skipped but can't be removed with Prime Video Ad Free.

1 Live TV, select free ad-supported programming, and add-on subscriptions may include advertising. Prime Video Mobile Edition or Prime Lite members need to upgrade to Amazon Prime to be able to sign-up for Ad Free.

Some content will continue to include advertising, such as free ad-supported programming, live TV, and sports events. You can identify the free ad-supported content by looking for "watch with ads" or "with ads" labels on the show's detail page.
