Resolve Digital Rights Errors

Here are some common solutions you can try if the Prime Video web player for Chrome displays a "Digital Rights Error" during playback.

This error occurs when the "Content Decryption Module" is not enabled in your Chrome browser.

To support access control (DRM) technologies, the Prime Video player requires your browser to provide this component.

Tip: DRM technologies enable content owners to set policies about copying or viewing their protected digital content.
