Resolve Issues with the Chrome Web Player

Here are some common solutions you can try if the Prime Video web player for Chrome displays an error message during playback.

Update Chrome

Updating to the latest version of Chrome can often resolve intermittent video playback issues:

  1. Open the Chrome Menu Menu Button 
			 and select About. The browser will then check for updates.
  2. If a Relaunch button is available, click it to update Chrome.
  3. Close all tabs, then close and reopen Chrome.
  4. Retry your video.

Close other tabs

Try closing other tabs you have open in Chrome. Also make sure the tab you're using to watch videos is not set to "Incognito Mode." If it is, just close that tab and reopen it.
