Parental controls give you a way to set viewing restrictions for the movies and TV shows available to watch through Prime Video.
You can manage your parental controls settings from the Prime Video website and the Prime Video app for Android and iOS.
To turn on parental controls, you first need to set a PIN for your account.
Parental controls work by requiring entry of your PIN to bypass viewing restrictions you've enabled for Prime Video.
To set or change your PIN on the Prime Video website:

Once you've set your PIN, you can turn on viewing restrictions for your account.
Viewing restrictions give you the option to block playback of movies and TV shows based on their Amazon Maturity Rating. You can choose which ratings levels you'd like to restrict, and on which of your registered devices you'd like these restrictions to apply.

When you have viewing restrictions set, you'll see a "lock"
symbol for movies and TV shows in your restricted age groups. If you try to watch one of these titles, you're prompted to enter your PIN before you can start playback.
