Paying for Prime Video Subscriptions in Local Currencies

What's Changing?

Customers living in selected countries can now choose to pay for their Prime Video subscription in their local currency, rather than US Dollars or Euros – while being able to access the same content on the same devices as usual.

We accept Mastercard and Visa debit and credit cards anywhere in the world, regardless of currency. We also accept the following cards for payment in local currencies:

American Express (credit): Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland.

Diners Club (credit): Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru.

How to Update a Subscription Payment

You can update your subscription from the Account & Settings page.

Note: At present, you can only pay in a local currency if you have an active Prime Video subscription; and live in: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Romania, Sweden or Switzerland; and have a payment card from a bank or other financial institution the same country. New subscribers to Prime Video or Amazon Prime will be offered subscriptions in their local currency on sign-up.
