Learn about the video quality and formats available with Prime Video.
When you start watching a video, we'll automatically adjust the picture and audio quality to reduce buffering and provide the best quality for your available internet bandwidth. Notifications typically display onscreen to indicate the quality you're receiving.
Note: You can also see which formats are available for a particular title by opening the video details. The format you select, your playback device, and your Internet connection all affect picture and audio quality.
We’re continuing to expand our selection of HDR movies and TV shows, but not all Prime Video titles are currently available with these playback options.
