1) Do I have to pay extra to watch Roland-Garros on Prime Video?

Prime members in Metropolitan France, Monaco, Andorra and French Territories can stream Roland-Garros matches on Prime Video for no additional fees. Fédération Française de Tennis offers distribution rights by territory. We have secured the rights for Metropolitan France, Andorra, Monaco, and French Territories (DROM-COM). All other international locations are not eligible.

3) Which Roland-Garros matches will be available on Prime Video?

Prime Video has acquired rights to broadcast:

Exclusive Prime Video Coverage:

  • 11 night session matches (starting May 24, including 2 quarter finals)
  • Night sessions feature a selection of the best singles matches of the day
  • Pre-show coverage starting at 19:30 (match start 20:30)
  • Post-show analysis

Co-Exclusive Coverage (available on both Prime Video and France TV):

  • Semi-finals and finals of the Men's and Women's Singles competitions
  • Semi-finals and finals of the Men's and Women's Doubles competitions
  • Mixed Doubles Final

France TV Coverage (available on Prime Video at no additional cost with a France TV subscription):

  • Selected day session matches

Note: In Saint-Barthélemy, Roland-Garros matches are available on Prime Video. However, Roland-Garros coverage in this territory is not exclusive to Prime Video and may also be carried by other broadcasters.

4) Can I live stream Roland-Garros on any device?

Live sports are available on Amazon devices such as the Fire TV and Fire tablet, connected TVs, web browsers, and on more than 650 connected devices via the Prime Video app. For more information, refer to: Supported Devices.

5) Can I stream Roland-Garros Qualifying rounds on Prime Video?

No, qualifying matches will not be available on Prime Video.

6) How can I catch up on matches I have missed?

Prime Video Night Sessions: Full match replays of Prime Video's exclusive night sessions will be available shortly after the match has ended via the tournament collection page. Customers can also access match highlights and exclusive content including pre-shows, post-shows, and interviews. Replays and on-demand content are available exclusively to Prime members with a paid subscription.

France TV Day Sessions: France TV coverage is available for live viewing only. Replays and on-demand content are not available for France TV day session matches. To watch day session matches, you'll need to tune in live during the tournament.

7) What languages will be available for Roland Garros 2026?

Prime Video night sessions feature French commentary as the primary audio option, with Stadium FX also available. France TV Day sessions offer French commentary.

8) How can I switch Subtitles on or off?

Prime Video Night Sessions: Customers can turn Subtitles on or off by selecting the "CC" icon in their playback controls. For some devices, the Subtitles icon looks like a dialog box, or it may be listed as a menu option under "Subtitles" on the video's detail page.

France TV Day Sessions: Subtitles will not be available for Roland-Garros.

9) Can I see Player stats while Roland-Garros matches are live?

Stats features will be available for all Prime Video events on supported devices. The devices supported for stats features for Roland-Garros include most living room TVs and devices (e.g. FireTV, Roku, Samsung SmartTV, etc.), as well as Android mobile devices.

For customers streaming on a living room TV , they can access stats features by pressing "up" on their TV remote control twice-once to bring up player controls and again to access the Stats menu. From there, customers can select the Match Stats card to view head-to-head stats for each player or doubles team.

On mobile devices, customers can access stats features by rotating their phone or tablet into portrait mode or, while in landscape mode, clicking the stats icon in the lower right hand corner.

10) How do I watch Roland-Garros on Prime Video?

In the Prime Video app on your device, you'll see matches under the heading "Roland-Garros: Live and Upcoming Matches," or visit primevideo.com where you will see "Roland-Garros: Live and Upcoming Matches" on the homepage. You can also search for "Roland-Garros" or "French Open" directly in the Prime Video search bar.

11) Can I watch Roland-Garros matches while traveling?

Yes, Prime members who are a resident of Metropolitan France, Monaco, Andorra, French Territories, the French overseas departments, regions and communities (DROM-COM) can stream Roland Garros coverage while traveling temporarily within the European Union.

Please note that this does not apply when traveling outside the European Union.

12) How can I find out which match Prime Video will broadcast for each night session?

Prime Video will publish the confirmed match schedule via the Tournament Page at the start of each day's play.

13) Can I watch Prime Video's Roland-Garros matches in clubs or restaurants?

No. The broadcast of Roland-Garros on Prime Video will be available only for private and personal use.

14) I'm receiving a location error when attempting to watch Roland-Garros coverage. What should I do?

Roland-Garros matches are only available to Prime customers based in Metropolitan France, Monaco, Andorra and French Territories. Prime Video subscription customers in Andorra and the French overseas departments, regions and communities (DROM-COM) can also access these matches. All other international locations, are not eligible. Prime Video does not support streaming content over a virtual private network.

15) What video resolutions are available for these matches on Prime Video?

Roland-Garros matches will be available in High Definition (HD). Prime Video provides optimal streaming experience depending on the available bandwidth speed.

16) How do I install Prime Video on my devices?

To install Prime Video:

  1. Open your device's app store to download and install the Prime Video app
  2. Enter the Prime Video app
  3. Register your device. You will be given a code to enter. Some devices show the option to Sign in and Start Watching, using your Amazon account information

17) Why can't I see live sports on my iOS or Android mobile device?

If you are not able to access live sport on your iOS or Android mobile device, please update your app to the latest version.

If you're using an Android device: open the Google Play Store app, search for "Prime Video" and press "Update."

If you are using an iOS device: Open the App Store, Search "Prime Video", Tap "Update".

18) Can I pause/rewind/fast forward live stream on my device?

Rewind, pause and fast forward are available on Android/iOS Mobile, Web (Chrome, FireFox, Edge), Fire TV, Apple TV (Gen 3) & selected Smart TVs. Use Watch from beginning play buttons on the detail page or in player to watch from start.

19) My stream is lagging behind the live stream, how do I fix this?

There can always be a brief delay between the live game and viewer's streaming experience, which may depend on the type of device you are using. We recommend using a Fire TV, Apple TV, iOS, or Android device for the best quality.

20) I'm experiencing streaming issues, what can I do?

For the best live streaming experience, Prime Video recommends a minimum download speed of 1 Mbps for SD & 5 Mbps for HD. Prime Video provides optimal streaming experience depending on the available bandwidth speed.

If you're experiencing any issues with the video "juddering" or having excessive motion blur, we recommend turning the Motion setting on your TV to Off. This setting might have a different name depending on your TV manufacturer. Motion settings include: Auto Motion Plus, Tru Motion, MotionFlow, Cinemotion, and Motion Picture.
