Actor, Director, Writer
Born in the east of England, Adam Basil's interests in theatre were present from a young age, and throughout his early life, he both studied and performed traditional British theatre, and later studied acting technique under Ivanna Chubbuck in Los Angeles, California. However, due to his unusually high levels of athleticism, he moved into the world of creature work, soon amassing an impressively large number of credits on some of the biggest films of the 21st century. He was cast by Bill Condon to portray the creature version of The Beast in Disney's 2017 "Beauty and the Beast", and due to his unique abilities in the worlds of physical theatre and advanced embodiment of Chubbuck acting techniques, he was personally selected by Andy Serkis to bring Marvel's Venom to life in "Venom 2: Let There be Carnage". Later, he became a well-known internet sensation for his terrifying portrayal of The Bloater in HBO's blockbuster series "The Last of Us", and has played a recurring character on season three of Apple TV's sci-fi series "Foundation". His acting skills have transcended beyond the world of film as well, and he voiced the titular character of Judge Dredd in the Penguin Audio Books of the "Judge Dredd" series.
