Adrian Powers is an Australian filmmaker whose work has screened at major international festivals including Cannes, Austin, and Venice. Described by Ridley Scott as "a talent for the industry to watch," he graduated from the International Film School Sydney before making his debut feature, the WWI action thriller ‘Forbidden Ground’, later acquired by Lionsgate Films. He has since co-written and directed a range of successful films, including the internationally popular ‘A Royal in Paradise’ trilogy and the global #1 hit ‘Love is in the Air’ on Netflix. In addition to directing, Adrian has edited fifteen feature films and co-written multiple episodes of the Netflix original series ‘Dive Club’. His short film ‘Brolga’ received critical acclaim and was selected for preservation by the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia. Beyond film and television, his commercial work includes campaigns for leading global brands such as Apple, Qantas, Uber, Yves Saint Laurent, The Guardian, Lonely Planet, and Google. Adrian holds Australian and Italian citizenship and is based in Sydney, Australia.
