Alexander Lloyd

Alexander Lloyd is an Australian actor working across film, television and theatre with Greek and Egyptian heritage. With early training in improvisation, he has since trained in classical and contemporary acting techniques at schools including 16th Street, Impulse Company International, AMAW, Les Chantery Studio, and with Anthony Brandon Wong. He will next appear as the lead in feature film The Comedian, and will feature in upcoming international feature Fog City. Other recent feature film credits include Kick On, Who Needs Love Songs, I Fall To Pieces, and In The Meantime. He plays Jason in the teen Netflix Series Gymnastics Academy, a role he originated in the feature A Second Chance: Rivals. Other television credits include Five Bedrooms, La Brea and Why Are You Like This? On stage he recent work includes Gruesome Playground Injuries, Much Ado About Nothing and For Love Nor Money. As a producer, his short film The Unrequited Life of Farrah Bruce won Best Short Film at the Adelaide Film Festival 2022, and his recent short Cracked screened at Flickerfest 2026.
