Anna-Marie Sutherland

Anna-Marie Sutherland is a Toronto-born actress with decades of experience in front of the camera, she is best known for her dark and moody roles. She grew up in the kitchens of her father's and uncle's restaurants, then left home as a teenager to live in over a dozen countries as an international model, she then segued into acting through years of theatre. Once Anna-Marie landed her first film role as the heavenly Bulgarian nurse in the Academy Award winning "The Barbarian Invasions", her return to the camera began again. After years of working in film, television, and theatre, she took a hiatus to focus on family, raising her son with profound autism as a single parent and providing hospice for her mother. After the great hibernation, Anna-Marie came out of the cave and back in front of the camera, having worked consistently since returning, she has appeared in award winning films on the International Festival circuit, on T.V. series and movies with Amazon, Prime, Apple TV, True Crime Network, Discovery Channel and Super Channel, and has also worked on commercials, verticals and web series with a world wide audience. Anna-Marie is passionately dedicated to the craft, bringing the emotions and wisdom of a life lived, she continuously prepares for her next adventure in the art of storytelling, loving every moment of it.
