Anna Pernicci is a British actress, playwright and screenwriter born and raised in London. Her father was Greek and her mother Italian. Anna studied at Goldsmiths University and at the University of California Riverside. She’s known for playing Eva in the four part BBC drama series Tears Before Bedtime, Mona Lisa in Disney’s The Timekeeper with Robin Williams and Franco Nero, Angelica in the multi-award winning film Queen of Hearts and as a series regular on the children’s TV show Jupiter Moon. She’s a Royal Television Society Award winner, a BBC Denis Potter Screenwriter Award nominee and a Susan Smith Blackburn Prize nominee. Her monologues were performed at the Royal Albert Hall. Anna’s first play Sundae was staged by the Royal Court YWP at the Duke of York’s Theatre in London’s West End, starring Maggie Steed. Sundae was also staged at the King’s Head - Islington by Dan Crawford.
