Anthony Falcon

Anthony is a freelance performing artist. He has served in several stage productions, handling various capacities in dance, musicals, and straight plays for reputable drama companies in the country. Some of these include leading advocates of Philippine theater such as Tanghalang Pilipino (TP) and the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA). In 2012, Anthony took a big step into film playing a lead role for Loy Arcenas' "REquieme" in the 8th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival. This led to nominations as Best Actor for the 36th Gawad Urian Awards and Best Breakthrough Performance by an Actor at the 10th Golden Screen Awards. Consequently, he won as Best Breakthrough Actor at the 2013 Gawad Tangi Awards for Films. Since then, he has been casted in major roles for other festival entries like Cinefilipino's "The Guerilla is a Poet" and Cinema One Originals' "Hindi Sila Tatanda" and "Violator", which won as Best Film for 2014. He is part of Jun Lana's award winning film "Anino Sa Likod ng Buwan" which gave him nominations for Best Supporting Actor in the 32nd Star Awards for movies and Best Actor at the 39th Gawad Urian Awards. He was also part of Jerrold Tarog's "Heneral Luna."
