Anthony Mark Streeter

Anthony Mark O'Brien is a British actor and photographer, born and raised in the Potteries of Staffordshire. Of Irish heritage through his maternal grandfather, he developed an early appreciation for storytelling, history and the landscapes that continue to inform his creative work. Raised for much of his childhood by a foster family who encouraged creativity, outdoor learning and independence, Anthony discovered a love of performance through school productions, the Scout movement and an enduring fascination with cinema. These formative experiences fostered a lasting curiosity about people, place and the craft of storytelling. At the age of nineteen, Anthony volunteered to join Her Majesty's Armed Forces. After completing his training and earning the Green Beret through the All Arms Commando Course, he served with 29 Commando Regiment, operating in a range of demanding environments. His military service instilled discipline, resilience and a strong commitment to teamwork, qualities that would later inform his approach to collaborative creative work. Following his military career, Anthony pursued acting, studying in Glasgow while developing his craft through theatre workshops, rehearsals and independent productions. He came to regard acting as a continuous discipline rather than a fixed destination, shaped by experience, preparation and collaboration. His screen work has included collaborations with both established and emerging filmmakers, while his broader experience within the industry has extended behind the camera in technical roles including clapper loader, camera assistant and grip. Working during the transition from 35mm film to digital production provided him with a practical understanding of filmmaking from multiple perspectives and a deep respect for the technical craft that supports performance. Alongside his work in film, Anthony has developed a longstanding passion for photography, exploring themes of perception, symmetry and structure. His work is informed by concepts such as natural form, mirrored composition and the golden ratio, often seeking patterns and relationships that sit beneath surface appearance. This interest reflects a broader fascination with what is seen and what is suggested, and with the subtle interplay between order, perception and the unknown. Over the past year, he has also worked in viticulture, caring for both new and established vineyards, a role that reflects his appreciation for the natural environment, patience and process-driven work. Based in the United Kingdom, Anthony continues to work as an actor and photographer while developing independent creative projects inspired by history, perception and lived experience. He remains active in pursuing opportunities in film and television.
