Arron Blake was born on the Isle of Wight where he worked as a carpenter before moving to London for drama school. He is known for I AM Norman (2021) and His Hands (2019). Arron had his directorial debut after co-directing, writing, and producing His Hands with Darius Shu which went on to have a world premiere at Robert De Niro's prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York (2019). After being selected from a record number of submissions worldwide (over 5000), it was nominated for Best Narrative Short. His Hands is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Mark Gatiss, producer of Netflix/BBC series Dracula and Sherlock, quoted His Hands as, "A beguilingly beautiful gem, Arron Blake and Darius Shu's His Hands defies easy analysis. Shot through with strange, homoerotic melancholy it is ravishing to look at and haunts the memory long after. Arron is a keen writer and actor and is always working on new projects. He started his career in theatre before moving on to films and television. In 2020, Blake starred in ITV's Breaking the Band, where he played lead singer Paul Stanley from the record-breaking band Kiss which televised on REELZ channel in the United States. Arron wrote, co-directed and performed in his latest short I AM Norman (2021). HeyUGuys praised Blake as 'Magnificent' for his performance in I AM Norman and calling the film a 'Masterpiece'.
