Asia Lizardo

Asia Lizardo is a Canadian actress best known for her roles in Sidelined: The QB and Me and Sidelined: Intercepted. She has also appeared in Netflix's highly anticipated reboot The Baby-Sitters Club and the SYFY series Resident Alien. Born in the Philippines, Asia moved to Saudi Arabia at the age of three before immigrating to Canada, where she was raised in Vancouver. From a young age, she showed a strong passion for the performing arts, confidently telling her parents she was destined to pursue it. From age 7 to 16, she trained professionally at the Richmond Academy of Dance, mastering ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop, before discovering a love for musical theatre. She went on to study at John Abbott College in Montreal, performing in acclaimed large-scale productions such as Cabaret and Little Shop of Horrors. After moving to Los Angeles, Asia transitioned from stage to screen, appearing in independent short films, music videos, sketches, and commercials-including a spot for Crayola. She has trained with award-winning acting coaches including John Markland, Craig Wallace, Deb Podowski, and Christianne Hirt. Now based in Vancouver, this multi-talented actress continues to audition for both independent and major studio projects, bringing depth, energy, and authenticity to every role she takes on.
