Barbara Gehring

Barbara Gehring (born Barbara Melnyk) is a Canadian born actress and playwright originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. A veteran of improv, sketch comedy and theatre, she is also the co-creator, playwright and star of the national hit show, The Secret Comedy of Women- Girls Only.® Gehring's professional career of over 25 years as an actress and playwright has run the gamut from stage to screen and TV commercial to voice work in Denver, Colorado. Gehring has to her credit several indie films and most recently starred in The Social Dilemma which wowed audiences in the 2020 International Sundance Film Festival and was picked up as a Netflix Original Documentary.
