Based in Vancouver, Benjamin Jacobson discovered his passion for film and television at a very early age-a drive that has since expanded into writing and directing his own short films while continuing to work professionally on screen and in voice. Benjamin booked his first role at age five in a Blueberries commercial, followed soon after by portraying the younger version of the lead in Adventures in Public School, which premiered at TIFF in 2017. He has worked extensively in animation, earning a Leo Award for Best Performance in an Animated Series in 2023 for Disney’s Gigantosaurus (2019). His voice work also includes recurring roles on Chip and Potato (2018), Dinosaur Train (2009), and Pup Academy (2019). His on-camera credits include guest roles on the Emmy Award-winning The Baby-Sitters Club (2020), as well as Nancy Drew (2019), Turner & Hooch (2021), and Batwoman (2019). Most recently, he starred in the animated feature Light of the World (2025), a film landing in the Top 10 box office, under consideration for the 98th Academy Awards. He will next appear in the Canadian mockumentary series The Dressing Room (2025).
