Benjamin Russell

Benjamin Matthew Russell was born in Denver, Colorado. He lived in Kansas, North Dakota, and Washington before settling in Los Angeles. He is of Scottish, Irish, German, English, and French ancestry. He started his acting career as a young kid in Bismarck, North Dakota doing local theater and commercials. While attending high school in Washington state, he joined a theater group where he acted, directed, and wrote plays. After encouragement from his acting professor, Benjamin decided to take his career seriously and move to Los Angeles. There, he studied Meisner Technique, Improv, Scene Study, and On-Camera Technique. In his spare time, he studied great acting teachers like Stella Adler and Lee Strasberg. He also was a member of the oldest theater group in Los Angeles, Theatre West. Benjamin Russell is a versatile talent who has played a wide range of characters, from charming boys next door to unhinged sociopaths. His experience as an actor includes all forms of media including film, television, commercials, verticals, and web series and he has ample stage experience.
