Bill Houskeeper

Bill Houskeeper was born in Baker, Oregon, and grew up in the coal mining town of Price, Utah. His father Jack worked as a coal miner, and his mother Jeannie ran the charity organization United Way for southeastern Utah. He participated in drama class and plays, as well as in music classes, where he played clarinet, bass clarinet, and drums. He attended The College of Eastern Utah. After graduation, he went on to Mesa State College, where he declared a double major in both acting/directing and technical design. At Mesa, he was taught by Equity Actor Peter Ivanov and Broadway Designer (U.S.A.) member David M. Cox. It was David who would give Bill advice that led him toward his acting career.
