Cem Baza

Cem Baza was born in Ankara, Turkey (1974). He graduated from Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Theatre Department with Acting Degree in 1996 and he moved to New York same year. In the years that he lived in New York he worked towards Masters degrees in New Media Arts and Performance Studies and Computer Science. Meanwhile he worked with various theatre groups and in solo performances as an actor, director and writer in both Turkish and English for 14 years. He moved back to Turkey in 2010 and started working in the movie industry. He worked front of the camera as an actor and he had different responsibilities behind the camera. He was an actor at the Istanbul Municipal Theatre for two years. He still works as an actor and director in various theaters and front and behind the camera
