Chayla Day

Chayla has a BFA in Acting from the University of Alberta and is a graduate of the Citadel Theatre Young Acting Company. Recent film and TV credits include: Witches of Salem, Believers (TV); When I See You, Red Wine and Rattling, Psycho's Therapy, Bleeding Hearts, Going In (film). After completing her BFA in Acting, Chayla moved to Toronto where she has acted in over a dozen films, an international commercial, and a TV mini-series. Also a screenwriter, Chayla is producing, directing, performing, and editing a feature film she wrote, to be released in 2026. Chayla's specialty in film editing is green-screening and cloning, both of which are vital for her current film. She is also the sole creator for her web series, COVID on the Couch. She has a deep love of nature, particularly of water, which flows through much of her work. As a storyteller, Chayla is most interested in film and TV that promote unity and equity.
