Chris Galust may be a newcomer to acting, but he has already garnered two award nominations. An Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead and a Gotham Film Awards nomination for Breakthrough Actor , both for his debut performance in Kirill Mikhanovsky's Give Me Liberty. Chris is what old Hollywood stories are made of, great looks and in the right place at the right time. No formal training but with all the raw talent and charisma to be a leading man, Chris was scouted for his first role while shopping at a grocery store in Brooklyn.
