Chris is a 2005 graduate from the School of Visual Arts, with a BFA in animation, which he specifically acquired to become a more creative, diverse, and efficient filmmaker. Majoring in Stop-Motion animation, Chris learned various skills & techniques in the art of VFX, from makeup & prosthetics, to set design & prop building, which have given him a competitive edge as a filmmaker. In 2004, Chris started Blinky Productions Inc, and to date, has amassed over 400 filmmaking credits. Some of his more notable works include the very popular 2004 fan film- "The Nightmare Ends on Halloween", a horror short that brings Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Leatherface and Pinhead together; the viral 2016 PSA- "The Powerpuff Girls", the infamous online 2013 film serial- "The Deadpool Webseries" (which caught the jealous eye of 20th Century Fox, shortly before their own demise), and the fan favorite "Krueger : Tales from Elm Street" series, which has been hailed as the definitive origin for Freddy Krueger by fans and ANOS alumni alike. In 2007, Chris began work on his first feature film, "Methodic", which is also (officially) the world's first basher movie- a sub genre of horror created by Chris himself. The phrase was coined after deciding that the killer in "Methodic" would actually bludgeon his victims to death. The film is currently available to watch on Amazon Prime. In November of 2025, Chris received the Silver Youtube award for reaching over 100,000 subscribers, as well as numerous other awards in writing, directing and editing from various festivals over the years. Currently based in Hollywood California, Chris has dedicated his free time to producing and releasing no less than one short film a month since the beginning of 2024, as well as annually releasing new graphic novels under his publishing label, BCU Comics.
