Født 18. februar 1974 i Aberdeen, Scotland, UK

Chris Robb is a Scottish director, producer, and founder of Tripswitch Productions, an independent film and television company focused on bold, emotionally resonant storytelling. Born and raised in Aberdeen, Robb descends from the Eunson family-whose 1850s emigration from Scotland to the U.S. was dramatized in the MGM film The Day They Gave Babies Away (1957). He is a relative of author Dale Eunson and actress Joan Evans, goddaughter of Joan Crawford. Robb's international debut feature, Utopia (2015), was filmed across Afghanistan, India, and Scotland, and selected as Afghanistan's official submission for both the Academy Awards and Golden Globes in the Best Foreign Language Film category. The film was directed by Hassan Nazer and produced by Chris Robb through his company. Through Tripswitch Productions, Robb is currently developing a slate of globally resonant film and television projects, including "Tehran Traceback", a politically charged espionage thriller, and "The White Banker", based on the true story of a Scottish whistleblower imprisoned in 1970s Rhodesia. His work blends grounded realism with mythic undertones, often exploring themes of power, identity, and the unseen systems shaping modern life. He is currently based in Scotland and collaborates internationally across feature films, TV series, and streaming platforms.
