Chris VanArtsdalen

Chris VanArtsdalen started out in 2007 directing and editing videos with his sketch comedy group, The Birthday Boys. They did a monthly show at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. He then wrote, directed, and performed when the show moved to television on IFC, produced by Bob Odenkirk and Ben Stiller. Chris then directed videos for Funny or Die, Comedy Central Social Scene, and commercials for brands such as Dunkin Donuts, Cheetos, Jose Cuervo, and a PSA with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. He's also been an editor for The MTV Movie Awards, The Film Independent Spirit Awards, Hidden America with Jonah Ray, and commercials including Fruit Smash Hard Seltzer, Wix with Will Ferrell, Busch Light, Pepsi, Norelco, and Lenovo. Chris also does design and motion graphics and worked as VFX supervisor/editor on Saturday Morning All Star Hits! on Netflix.
