Crystal Sierra Rodgers

Born in the bosom of Baltimore Maryland, known as the Queen of Latin Hip-Hop, Crystal Sierra, is a powerful singer, songwriter, actress and music producer. Crystal Sierra a.k.a. Crystal Rodgers graduated from Baltimore School for the Arts where she was classically trained to sing Opera Music. It was there that she became friends with Tupac Shakur. Wanting to study more genres and absorb all that entertainment had to offer, Crystal obtained a scholarship from Berklee College of Music where she performed with Salsa & Latin Jazz bands influenced by her Colombian roots. She left Berklee to move to Los Angeles and begin to simultaneously pursue her singing and acting career, studying acting under the direction of many great coaches to include Ivana Chubbuck's Studio. While recording one night in the studio, she met and was later managed by casting director Robbi Reed who suggested that she audition for the role of "Angel" (Tupac Shakur's baby mama) in John Singleton's movie "Poetic Justice." "Who would have ever thought back in high school that we would work alongside each in a feature film in Hollywood." Shortly thereafter, Crystal Sierra signed her first record deal with The Aftermath in which she joined a female group called "Hands-On" and co-wrote "Got Me Open" on Dr. Dre's label: The compilation release was a success and went Platinum!!! "THE QUEEN OF LATIN HIP-HOP" had an opportunity from an awesome A&R to be the Latin Solo artist she always dreamed of and signed her second major record deal with Virgin Records where she released her single "Playa No More" off of her "Morena" album while still acting in various television shows and stage plays. She recently earned here Associates Degree graduating with Cum Laude honors from The Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood, Ca. With more fervor, determination and focus, this superstar is returning to the stage, working on her newest album and upcoming film projects.
