Daniel Charles Doherty

Attendance to the The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and graduating alongside Dominic Purcell and after Hugh Jackman. Charles Doherty is a multi-award winning actor with roles in The Tattooist of Auschwitz (Sky), John Carpenter's Suburban Screams (NBC Peacock), The Toys That Built America (HC) as well as appearances in films: A New Breed of Criminal and Rewilding (Prime). He was also contracted to work on major Hollywood productions including After the Hunt (Luca Guardanino), Jay Kelly (Noah Baumbach) and Bridget Jones 4 (Michael Morris). In streaming television he's worked on The Pentaverate, The Witcher (Season 5) and Citadel (Season 2) as stand-in and double for stars such as Mike Myers, Michael Stuhlbarg and Matt Berry. Charles is also an established live performer particularly in Musical Theatre with credits including Arthur in Spamalot, Bustopher Jones in Cats, Dennis in Rock of Ages, Corney in Hairspray, Gomez in the Addams Family, Bob in Pricilla Queen of the Desert, Don in Kinkyboots, Pilate in JCS and many more. He was also an artist with Disney Events and Opera companies such as Opera Australia, Victorian State Opera and The Western Australian Opera.
