Daniel Needs

Australian actor Daniel Needs, born July 22, grew up in the coastal town of South West Rocks. A graduate of Screenwise Film & TV School (2015), Daniel gained recognition for his role in the 2020 feature film Swimming for Gold. Away from the camera, Daniel's life is shaped by a passion for adventure and a deep respect for nature. As a guide and deckhand in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, he has spent extensive time exploring its vibrant ecosystems aboard both sailing and motorised vessels, strengthening his commitment to environmental conservation. Daniel's adventurous pursuits have taken him from surfing the rugged shores of Africa to trekking the 30-day Camino de Santiago pilgrimage across Europe.
